Dr. Klaus Eckert

is an internist, nephrologist and qualified tropical medicine specialist and has already worked on various other projects in India, the Philippines, Sudan and Ghana.

He wrote a blog about his experiences in Africa www.klauseckert.blogspot.com

He is the founder of Brepal eV and first chairman of the association.

Dr. Florian Gottesleben

Internist from Wendland. He has been a member of the association since 2015 and is responsible for coordinating the Loting project.

Gerd Korves

Dentist from Lingen, Emsland, coordinates the dental operations. He is also a member of our partner association Desoca eV

Anke Korves

from Lingen in Emsland is responsible for the Chepang project.

Ms. Bidya Mahat

is the first chairwoman of our partner association “Project Propel” and the representative of Brepal eV in Nepal.

Sabina Tandukar

33 years old and hails from Khichapokhari, Kathmandu. She has been working as an accountant in our KTM office since May 2017. She has successfully completed a Masters in Business Studies from Tribhuwan University of Nepal and has worked as an accountant in various organizations before joining Project Propel.

Rubina Shresta

has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and has been responsible for administration/human resources management in the Kathmandu office since 2023.

Yam Lal Bhusal

(pronounced: Emlal), was previously our medical assistant, the “girl for everything”. He comes from Banjhakateri and completed his three-year training as a medical assistant in Kathmandu in autumn 2018. He returned to Banjhakateri to complete his training under Bijaya and the German guest doctors.

Since December 1, 2022, he has been responsible for the Healthpost in BKT.

Binod Chanda Bohara

has been working as a Health Assistant in Banjhakateri since 2023.

Rupa Rana

an experienced midwife who has been working for us for four years and has returned after a break.

Sujina Khadka

works as a midwife in Banjhakateri.

Hima Poudyal

works as a laboratory assistant in Banjhakateri.

Trishana Thapa

works as a pharmacist in BKT.

Madhav Raj Bhusal

comes from Banjhkateri, Gulmi. He works in our center in BKT as a cook and caretaker.

Goat Badhur

also called GB, is our strong helper in the gardens and acts as a carrier for medicines and other loads. He is our all-rounder. Goat Badhur means: the one born in the goat shed. A really hard-working man and loving father of eight children.

Saraswati Bhusal

is married and has three children. She lives very close to our center and has been working as a cleaner for us since October 2017.

Biyaja Lama

has been our Medical Assistant in Banjhakateri since March 1, 2019. He already had four years of professional experience and accepted the job with us to learn from the German doctors.

Since January 2023 he has been working as a HP in Bigu/Loting.

Anju Thapa Magar

works as a midwife in Loting/Bigu.

Dipti Shresta

works as a midwife and nurse in Loting.

Nisha Tamang

is Bijaya’s wife and will work with him in Loting/Bigu from December 2022.

She studied hospital management.

Ganga Maya Thami

works as a cook and helper in Loting.

Tok Maya Thami

works as a helper in Loting.

Seskanta Bhusal

has been working for us as an English teacher since August 1, 2015.

He teaches grades 4 to 7 at Berikot Primary School. He also provides our team with regular training in English.

Basanta Bista

works as a teacher at the state primary school in Aglung. Brepal pays her salary.

Jharana Pun

is a teaching assistant at the government primary school in Banjhakateri, Ward 1. Brepal pays her salary.
