Located in one of Nepal’s most remote regions, our Madhane team provides essential, often life-saving services to thousands of patients each year. They work in a challenging environment with limited resources, yet deliver care with remarkable skill and compassion.

Yam Lal Bhusal | Health Center In-Charge & Health Assistant

A seasoned health professional with strong expertise in managing comprehensive healthcare services. Yam Lal oversees clinical quality, facility operations, and coordination with local agencies while providing direct patient care and staff supervision. His leadership ensures the center runs smoothly and delivers reliable, high-quality care.

Binod Chand Bohora | Health Assistant

A dedicated and proactive health worker known for his kindness and commitment. Binod provides quality patient care, supports daily health center operations, and promotes the proper use of medicines. He regularly goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Rupa Rana | Auxiliary Midwife Nurse (Skilled Birth Attendant)

A qualified and experienced midwife specializing in safe maternal and newborn care. Rupa manages the gynaecology and maternity unit, providing antenatal check-ups, conducting deliveries, and offering postnatal follow-up. Her skill and calm presence ensure mothers and babies receive safe, respectful care.

Kabita Puri | Auxiliary Midwife Nurse & Staff Nurse

A trained nurse with skilled birth attendance certification. Kabita works alongside Rupa in maternity care, supporting deliveries, postnatal services, and newborn health. She is also a flexible team member, often assisting in other departments when needed.

Heema Poudel | Laboratory Technician

A qualified lab technician with strong diagnostic skills. Heema handles sample testing, analysis, and timely reporting, providing physicians with accurate data for diagnosis and treatment. Her careful work is crucial for effective patient management.

Tej Kumari Thapa | Pharmacist (DPharm)

A certified pharmacist who manages the center’s pharmacy services. Tej Kumari ensures accurate medicine dispensing, proper storage, inventory management, and the constant availability of essential drugs. Her attention to detail supports both patient safety and treatment effectiveness.

With years of hands-on gardening experience, Gothe manages the health center’s vegetable and flower gardens. His work provides fresh produce for staff and visitors, maintains a clean and green environment, and supports the center’s aesthetic and nutritional goals.

Saraswati Khatri | Office Helper

Responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized facility. Saraswati’s diligent work ensures a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors—a critical yet often overlooked component of quality healthcare delivery.

Anusee Thami | Helper (Cleaning & Incinerator Oversight)

Responsible for overall facility cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management. Anusee also oversees the operation of the incinerator and supports other departments as needed, contributing to a safe and well-maintained health center.

Saraswati Bhurtel | Administrative and Liaison Officer

Managing official documentation, government liaison, and compliance to ensure smooth organizational operations. She also oversees the eco-garden projects, partner monitoring and provides broad administrative support, strengthening the organization’s efficiency and capacity to achieve its goals.

Sabina Tandukar| Finance Officer

She is an experienced Finance Officer at Project Propel, managing accounting, financial transactions, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability. She also supports other departments, contributing to efficient operations and the successful achievement of project goals.

Rubina Shrestha | Program & HR Officer

She is a Program & HR Officer at Project Propel, coordinating with German doctors, ensuring regulatory government compliance, and managing project implementation. Rubina also oversees Human Recourses and program activities, monitors progress, reporting and supports smooth operations for effective project delivery.
